Completing the Application Form
Examine the duties detailed in the job description and the skills and experience listed in the person specification. The essential criteria listed in the person specification set out the minimum requirements for an applicant to be shortlisted. If you do not meet the essential criteria you will not be shortlisted.
The desirable criteria set out the level of skill and competencies which will be possessed by a good applicant. If relevant, please demonstrate how you meet any of the desirable criteria.
To demonstrate your competence, skills and knowledge use examples of any relevant experience you have gained from your current or previous jobs or other experiences from your daily life.
You must include clear evidence of how you feel you meet the specific requirements of the job. You can include this in the ‘Further Information’ section of the application. You can also attach a supporting statement.
Data Protection
Your application will be shared with people involved in the recruitment process and will be held on the file for 12 months.

Recruitment Process
After the closing date all applications are submitted to the relevant department for them to put together a shortlist. This process usually takes five working days.
If you are shortlisted you will be invited to attend for interview (either by a telephone call, email or letter). You will also be given a schedule for your interview. This will include meeting the Head of College, a tour of the college and may include a test, presentation or teaching, depending on the nature of the post.
Depending on how well candidates do during the first part of the day, they may/may not be shortlisted for final interviews
We normally make an appointment on the day of interview and candidates are informed of the outcome on the same day.

Should you be successful your offer will be subject to DBS clearance, satisfactory references and eligibility to work in the UK.

Pension Scheme
There are three main pension schemes operating at Beauchamp which offer excellent benefits, all employees have access to a scheme relevant to their role.
The Teachers Pension Scheme is open to teaching staff and the Local Government Pension Scheme is open to associate employees.

Career Development
As a new employee you will be welcomed by your team leader as well as attend a rolling induction programme, which includes a session with the principal.
You will have regular review meetings with your team leader/human resources and you will be given feedback so that you know how you are progressing.
