Beauchamp College benefits from having a Lionheart Academies Trust careers advisor who delivers a one-to-one service and works alongside the Advice, Guidance and Progress team to provide a range of services to our students.
These services include:
The team also facilitates work experience, careers fairs (internal & external), A-Level and Vocational taster sessions, trips to colleges and universities.
Every year Beauchamp College holds a careers fair attended by higher education institutions, workplaces, public service representatives and the armed services.
We also provide career talks on apprenticeships, university & college options and careers on a weekly basis.
Careers information is communicated to students and parents via the school VLE and the digital notice board Beehive. Posters and flyers about careers events are also posted throughout the school and students are made aware of events via tutor time.
Every summer our year 10, 11, 12 & 13 students are given the opportunity to take part in work experience. Work placements are organised by Leicester Education Business Company (LEBC). To find out more visit our work experience page.
You can view our full careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) programme on here.
You can see where our students move onto after Beauchamp via our Pupil Destinations Data page.
In England, a young person must be in part-time education or training until they’re 18.
