World Book Day
World Book Day at Beauchamp College was a true celebration of stories, creativity, and the joy of reading! Both libraries buzzed with activity as students embraced a range of exciting literary challenges and events.Aspiring artists showcased their talents in a stunning book-inspired art exhibition, filling the space with creativity. Meanwhile, Key Stage 3 students tackled the brand-new ‘Fiction Addiction’ reading challenge, discovering thrilling new titles— including the latest Ravena Guron mystery - in pursuit of Reward Points.
The ‘Library of Lost Stories’ transformed into an Escape Room adventure, keeping students on their toes with book-themed puzzles. Elsewhere, the Masked Reader Challenge had students designing 3D masks of their favourite characters, blending art and literature in a brilliant display of imagination.
Staff joined in the fun with the Character Hunt, donning book-themed lanyards for students to spot throughout the day - a literary take on Pokémon!
With book talks, fantastic displays, and two incredible libraries filled with inspiration, World Book Day at Beauchamp was truly a page-turner!
